Please note we are a non-smoking apartment.
The apartment is brightly furnished, with a light
modern feel and quipped to a very high standard. Electric storage heating is
provided with convector heaters in all rooms.
The accommodation comprises Hallway leading to:

Lounge: Lantern light to ceiling,
colour television with DVD/VCR CD / radio, luxury leather sofa bed ( sleeps
2) leather recliner and footstool, electric flame effect convector heater.
Kitchen: newly refitted and well
equipped with electric cooker and hob extractor microwave ,upright fridge
freezer, toaster washer drier, dishwasher, iron and ironing board.

Diner: large farmhouse table and six
chairs
Bathroom:
heated towel rail, bath with electric shower over, wash basin with
shaver light, toilet.
Bedroom 1 with double bed,
dressing table and occasional furniture.
Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds and
built in wardrobe.

All our visitors have free access to the wonderful
facilities that are available on the Colmer Estate
|
|
Indoor Pool
The indoor pool is open and heated all year
round.. .There is a disabled changing room and toilet and wheelchair access
into the pool area
Fitness suite
Above the indoor pool is a rowing machine, an exercise
bicycle, a treadmill, a sit up frame and a bench press with weights.

Outdoor Pool
The large outdoor pool is open and heated from June to
September. Next to the pool there is a barbeque area, with a range of outdoor
seating, tables and sunbeds to help you relax, You may also enjoy playing table
tennis.

The Lake
The fishing lake is well stocked with carp and golden
rudd and a fishing licence is available from any Post Office - however children
under 14 can fish without a licence providing barbless hooks are used. In
conjunction with Heritage into Landscape Lottery Funding, the beautiful lake
and island have recently been restored.
Walled Garden
Originally a large kitchen garden for the estate, this
now contains some very exciting play equipment for children and a boules pitch
for everyone to enjoy. There are also picnic tables. Our walled
garden is a very special, safe area and is the only place where ball games are
permitted - a football goal net is provided. No dogs are allowed in this area.

Games Room
This is located opposite the walled garden and houses a
pool table, sofas and a music centre.

|
Adventure Play Area
This is situated in a clearing in the woods behind the
tennis court.
Tennis Court
The recently re surfaced all-weather tennis court is always available, but
depending on demand in the high season guests may occasionally find it
necessary to work out a polite booking system.

Croquet
Once we had a croquet lawn in front of Colmer House but
unfortunately the moles found it! The gardener is working hard to restore it
and if you feel equal to the challenge the croquet set is kept in the laundry
room.
Laundry Room
Washing and tumble drying machines for the use of
visitors.
